INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Former Indiana Attorney General Curtis Hill is considering whether to join the 2024 Republican governor’s race, nearly three years after his reelection bid was derailed by allegations that he drunkenly groped four women during a party.Hill built a following among social conservatives during his time in office and his entry into the governor’s race could further complicate what already is shaping up to be an expensive fight for the Republican nomination. U.S. Sen. Mike Braun, Lt. Gov. Suzanne Crouch and Fort Wayne businessman Eric Doden are already vying to replace Republican Gov. Eric Holcomb, who can’t seek reelection because of term limits.Hill expects to make a decision in the coming weeks as he and his wife “are carefully praying for guidance,” he said in a statement provided to The Associated Press by his political advising firm.“At a time when Hoosiers are hungry for fresh leadership, it is crucial that we distinguish between those who genuinely represent c...'Stop, stop, stop': Murder warrant issued for 18-year-old accused of shooting Crown Point teen to death

NEW YORK (AP) — The Chicago Sky have undergone more change the past two seasons than any team in the WNBA.And the Sky were coming off their 2021 championship when the turnover began. Kahleah Copper is now the lone remaining starter from that team as Candace Parker, Courtney Vandersloot, Azura Stevens and Allie Quigley are no longer with Chicago.Copper has embraced the challenge of her leadership role, getting off to a strong start this year in helping the Sky win four of their first seven games. She's averaging a career-best 17.1 points and 5.9 rebounds. Copper helped the team pull off a stunning 19-point comeback against the New York Liberty on Sunday, scoring 17 of her 27 points in the third quarter to fuel the rally. She's gotten some help with the offseason additions this year of Courtney Williams, Marina Mabrey and Elizabeth Williams.‘‘When the moment comes, I’m ready and I’m built for it,’’ Copper said. ‘‘But I have teammates around me, so I don’t have to do it by myself.’’Whil...Tuesday Forecast: Temps in upper 70s with chance for isolated showers, t-storms

(NEXSTAR) — The U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission is warning Americans to make sure they're no longer using or buying three types of Boppy-brand baby loungers that were recalled in 2021 — after the commission says two more infants died in incidents related to the products. A total of 10 infant deaths have now been linked to the loungers, which were recalled in September 2021 over suffocation risks. According to the original Boppy lounger recall, suffocation risks could occur when infants roll, move or are placed in positions that obstruct breathing. Additionally, babies who roll off the lounger can face suffocation risk if they roll onto heavier materials, like adult pillows, which CPSC says happened to one of the infants.RECALLED (L-R): Boppy Original Newborn Lounger, Boppy Preferred Newborn Lounger, and Pottery Barn Kids Boppy Newborn Lounger. (NEXSTAR) – Twitter users who follow the official McDonald’s account were greeted to a nostalgic sight on Monday: the large purple face of Grimace — bug-eyed and nearly expressionless — staring directly back at them.McDonald’s ultimately revealed that Grimace is back to promote its upcoming “Grimace Birthday Meal,” which comes complete with a brand-new (and very purple) berry-vanilla shake. There’s just one thing McDonald’s declined to fully explain: Just what the heck are we looking at, here?Grimace, by McDonald’s own admission, is an “ambiguous” blob of a mascot. Introduced in 1971 as “Evil Grimace,” the character was first depicted as a villain — with four arms — who was singularly focused on stealing McDonald’s milkshakes, as seen in early TV commercials.Over the years, Grimace eventually lost his mad lust for milkshakes (and two of his arms) and became best buds with Ronald McDonald. The original Taco Bell menu had only five items, and one was a burger But Grimace wa...Latest news
