CHICAGO — Police are conducting a death investigation after a baby boy was found unresponsive on the city's South Side.According to police, a male infant was discovered inside a residence in the 1100 block of West 78th Street. He was pronounced dead on the scene, police said. The medical examiner has identified the baby as 2-month-old Kaiden Tappler. NEWARK, Calif. — Nearly a dozen ducklings are back with their mother duck after being trapped in a storm drain.The video above from the Alameda County Fire Department shows a pair of its firefighters lifting ten baby ducks out of a drain and onto the street. Their mother was waiting and quacking nearby as one by one the brood was reunited. Bank of America must pay more than $100 million to customers for doubling up on some fees, withholding reward bonuses and opening accounts without customer consent.Bank of America will pay $90 million in penalties to its organization and $60 million in penalties to the OCC, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau said Tuesday.The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency found the bank’s double-dipping on fees was illegal.Bank of America, based in Charlotte, North Carolina, serves 68 million people and small business clients. The bank had $2.4 trillion in consolidated assets and $1.9 trillion in domestic deposits as of March 31, making it the second-largest bank in the U.S.Bank of America had a policy of charging customers $35 after the bank declined a transaction because the customer did not have enough funds in their account, the CFPB said. (KTLA) -- Residents have been asked to be on the lookout for a 15-foot reticulated python that escaped from a Los Angeles area home and could be a danger to cats and smaller dogs.The snake disappeared from its owner's backyard in the Los Angeles suburban neighborhood of Chatsworth on July 3, according to a post on the MyChatsworth Facebook page. Alex Villalta said the 8-inch-thick constrictor snake is "really friendly to humans" but has the potential to eat cats and small- to medium-sized dogs. COHOES, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- According to the City of Cohoes, Saratoga Street from Tibbits Avenue to Bridge Street will be closed until further notice. ST. FRANCOIS COUNTY, Mo. - One woman has died, and two other people are hurt are a rural Missouri highway crash Monday afternoon. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that Regina Yeaher, 61, of Park Hills, Missouri, died in the crash. Two others riding in another car are being treated for "serious" injuries at a hospital. The crash happened just after the noon hour on Route B near Beck Drive. Accused killer’s case thrown out over one question at trial Investigators say Yeaher was driving southbound, while the other two in the crash were heading northbound. A crash report states Yeader was driving over her half of the roadway and tried to get back into her lane, but travelled off the right side. MSHP reports she then overcorrected, causing her car to steer left, skid and hit another car's bumper. Yeaher was rushed to the hospital after the crash, but died from her injuries. MSHP Troop C, which covers many counties around the St. Louis metro, is investigating the crash.Latest news
