SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- The SF Bay Area Pro-Am is back for the summer at the historic Kezar Pavilion gym for Bay Area hoop fans. The pro-am welcomes college players, pros, and even high school players to play in the league and showcase their skills. Some big names players who have played in the SF Bay Area Pro-Am over the years include Stephen Curry, Jason Kidd, Aaron Gordon, Jeremy Lin, Garry Payton, Brian Shaw, Jason Richardson, and Matt Barnes. Bay Area native Aaron Gordon of the Denver Nuggets, who this week helped the franchise win its first NBA championship, also played in the league. "The San Francisco Pro-Am is very proud of the achievement that Aaron Gordon has made and excited that another one of our alumni has had the opportunity to advance his skills to an NBA Championship," said Jon Greenberg-League Director for the San Francisco Pro-Am for the last 43 yrs. Authorities have cleared terminals at the Los Angeles International Airport that were evacuated after reports of a suspicious item was found on Friday night.The item, which was not publicly identified, was found around 9:30 p.m. Friday in an area prior to an official TSA security checkpoint.Passengers in Terminals 1 and 1.5 were evacuated out of caution, an airport spokesperson said. Vehicle traffic was diverted from the upper and lower levels as authorities responded to the scene. A Riverside man was arrested in connection to a series of brazen ATM thefts across Southern California.The suspect was identified as Paul Kolacki, 34, by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department. Kolacki is accused of stealing at least 29 ATMs across multiple cities and counties.On Jan. 15, around 10:40 p.m., deputies responded to a burglary call in the 300 Block of Wilkerson Avenue in Perris. The victim received a notification that his business was being burglarized and responded to the scene.The victim witnessed two suspects stealing an ATM using a tow strap connected to the tow hitch of their Ford Ranger pickup truck. Two teenagers have been charged with killing 18-year-old Kendall Batson of District Heights during a carjacking in an elementary school parking lot, according to Prince George’s County Police.Police say Lavelle Harris, 18-year-old, of Washington, D.C., was charged with first and second degree murder, armed carjacking and related charges.
